Back surgery: When it comes to back surgery there has been little change in the feeling that one third of patients will get better one third will stay the same and one third will get worse. I hope you're not in this latter group. It is a shame that people don't seem to have and often don't have access to the surgeons that did the procedure . You really need to communicate with the person that did the procedure.

Dr Steven Simon responded that it should go away in weeks, but it's been over year. Dr suggested RFA because he feels the disc has calcified and surgery should be avoid due to damaging the nerves, this true? I'm in pain & it's affecting sex drive, appetite, bowel movements, my over all quality of life. diff in 2 procedures? L4/L5 herniated disc follow up question.
