A member asked:

I high prolactin levels i am still waiting to get a mri scan no period for 5 months should i be waiting this long knowing i could have a brain tumour?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Prolactin: There may be a pituitary issue causing the high prolactin and it may be slightly enlarged. It is very unlikely to be a cancer and there is a strong probability that nothing need be done with your pituitary. That said you should arrange your MRI asap so your worry can be diminished.
