Unlikely: Crps is a pretty big deal. Not to say your toenail hurting isn't, but it involves a larger area than that sometimes the whole leg or part of it. Is there a splinter there perhaps? Maybe not since 2 podiatrists saw you already. I would seek help from an orthopedic surgeon who evaluates foot/ankle issues.

Why does the edge: Crps gives the foot a mottled appearance, either very cold or hot with severe constant pain , skin can feel wet. If you think crps, see a neurologist asap for evaluation, MRI will pick it up too.
