A member asked:

Can there be any well-written books on the subject of alcoholism and binge-drinkingwhat it is and what it isn't?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I have to wonder: Whether some people have never been in the inside of a bookstore. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of very good books on the subject. Alcoholism, drug addiction, and the road to recovery: life on the edge by barry stimmel is the one i recommend most. Al mooney's the recovery book (very aa-oriented) and the small book by jack trimpey (the big book is aa's 'text' on recovery).
