Best see your doctor: There are 4 main types. Fecal immunochemical testing (fit)/immunochemical fecal occult blood test (ifobt), stool guaiac test for fecal occult blood (gfobt), fecal porphyrin quantification (hemoquant), and fecal dna test or pregen-plus. The stool guiac is the most proven, and can be done at home. But it is best to see your doctor since he/she can order it and a positive test must be followed up.
