Root cause ?: That is difficult to answer without much more information. Sinus pain is a very generic term. This implies pain or pressure in the face. There could be a multitude of causes. My advice is that you need to see your primary care doctor, an ENT specialist, and possibly a neurologist to assess this problem. No simple remedies can be offered.
