Jaw surgery to: Remove wisdom teeth carries an expectation of several days of post op soreness. At your age, ; depending on the surgical area ; difficulty, it can be up to 10 or even 14 days to be past the "achey" jaw. Your surgeon should have recommended medication to help or rx's. Follow those instructions and keep your mouth rinsed and clean. If your concerns are serious, schedule a post op appt w your doctor.

Call and disuss: Call and discuss this with the dentist who removed your wisdom tooth. Is it getting better, worse or the same over time? Your dentist should be seeing you for routine aftercare until healing is assured. This is normally included in the fee for that service.
