Should be OK.: As a one time thing, this will probably not hurt him. More importantly, why did you take this large dose? Was this a suicide attempt? If so, he needs to seek help mediately. Do not ignore it.

36 yr old male w/ pressure in upper abdomen right below the sternum. The ER doc said it could be a peptic ulcer. Taking Prilosec & galviscon. 1 wk later still pressure & feels better lying flat.
