Needs Insulin: Your father needs his insulin shots..if already on it then needs to increased. Needs Basal (long acting- Lantus (insulin glargine) or Detemir) PLUS THREE times before meals Insulin( Aspart or Lispro). Please take him to ER so his immediate sugars can be immediately controlled and long term medication can be adjusted.
