Depends on her age: If she is 2 months or less, call your doctor right away; you may need to be evaluated at a hospital. If she is older than two months, she is less likely to have a serious illness, but urinary tract infection and pneumonia should be considered although simple viral infections are the most likely cause of her fever. Visit your doctor for prolonged fever, dehydration, or any specific concerns.
