High Cortisol: Cortisol is a mild androgen and is produced by the adrenal glands. It has a diurnal pattern, which means that the level has a predictable curve over a 24 hour period. It should be highest in the morning. Blood cortisol is standardized for before 10am. 26.5 is quite a bit higher than I would expect for 4pm unless you are a shift worker or keep odd hours. Get a 4 spot cortisol saliva test.
