Need help docs! my 17 year old son fainted for the first time and now he has random ticks in his neck where he jerks his head?

Time will tell: Random tics are typically nothing serious to worry about and often occur after a stressful event. It's possible your son became stressed out or nervous after fainting, and the tics may have subsequently developed as a result of this. It's usually best to ignore these behaviors & focus on other things, while giving positive reinforcement things he does well. If they worsen, see your doctor.

Speak to pediatrician if this continues, and may need to be referred to a pediatric neurologist.
