Highly unlikely: If you had your gallbladder out for stones, there is a very small chance of having a retained stone but this is unlikely and is usually suspected prep by evaluating your us and labs. There is no real dietary restrictions after gallbladder surgery but patients sometimes find foods that bother them. This may be a temporary issue while the system gets used to life without the gallbladder.

See below: No you will not get gallstones again after gallbladder removal surgery except in very rare situations with retained stone in the bile duct. As you heal, you should be able to return to eat all regular foods. Fatty or greasy foods may cause some people to get gassy or diarrhea.

Yes, but unlikely: It is possible that stones could form in the duct after GB surgery, But it is very rare. You should eat a healthy diet. Avoid fatty foods. Spicy foods are OK.
