Uti or kidney infection, how can i tell the difference?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Difference of UTI: A kidney infection, pyelonephritis (p) is more sever than a uti. A p has a fever, pain in the back, and can lead to serious complications such as sepsis, if untreated. A UTI normally does not have a fever and presents with some pain on urination and increased frequency. Both a p and UTI are treated with antibioitcs adn the prognosis is good for recovery.
