Independent agent: I suggest if you are not very familiar with all the terminology and lawyer talk that these plans have, that you utilize an independent insurance agent in your community to help you sort through the different options and then apply during open enrollment. Doing it on your own can be done on-line, but it helps to have someone explain what's what in the different plans and options for your situation.
