Depends: Clips that are placed during surgery are intentionally placed by the surgeon for various reasons. There rarely can become dislodged and "float around" in the abdomen. Even if that was the case it would rarely ever cause any problems. The best person to tell you would be the surgeon performing your case. See then for specific questions.
