Acne: Acne usually responds to over the counter wash and treatment products. Some contain benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid. If those products are insufficient, a doctor can prescribe other medications. If there is an underlying cause such as Rosacea, hormone imbalance, or diet sensitivities, the offending condition may have to be treated as well.
