I have got a swollen bump on each achilles. do i have achilles tendinitis?

That is certainly: One possibility. There are others like xanthoma (cholesterol deposits), soft tissue structure like lipoma or ganglion. I would have it evaluated by a doc so you know what you have and best treatment options.

MAYBE: It's possible to feel an enlargement of the Achilles tendon, either due to swelling or even a growth within the tendon itself; an MRI may be helpful. But also, could the "bump" actually be an enlargement of the back of the heel bone itself?-it's called a "Haglund's deformity." A doctor's exam would determine the exact cause. Dr. Latva
