Benefits vs risks: If your doc is telling you to do something, generally I trust that is the correct decision. However, if u have doubts, a second opinion is fine. The issue with antibiotics? -there are benefits and of course risks. Knowing when benefits are maximized and risk starts to take over is key. Someone (a doc) needs to make this decision and hopefully is right on track. Antibiotics are a double-edged sword
