Red warm skin in leg. dvt?

Could be.: Dvt stands for deep vein thrombosis - or a bad blood clot - and yes, it could be that. But it could also be an infection, or other things. See your doctor as soon as possible; this is not something to try to treat on your own.

Warm leg: The most common symptoms of DVT are swelling and pain. Redness and warmth, although they can occur with a DVT, are not the usual symptoms. A red and warm leg often is associated with cellulitis which is an infection in the skin of the leg. A venous ultrasound would easily distinguish between the two. See a vein specialist.
