May be Yes or no: Some of the medication called oral hypoglycemic drugs and few newer anti-diabetics stimulate Insulin secretion but there are no medications so far we can synthesize Insulin inside our body. That's why for type 1 diabetes, the main treatment is Insulin therapy. Hope this helps.
