Surgery: The good news is that there really is a solution. Qsymia (phentermine and topiramate) is not it. To change your life and to prevent all the medical problems of obesity you should consider bariatric surgery. This option is proven to prevent diabetes, heart disease and the list goes on and on.

Great option.: With the help of a nutritionist, your doctor and and a trainer at a gym and motivation you should start to see the pounds come off. Slow and steady wins the race.

Qsymia (phentermine and topiramate): Hi. Qsymia (phentermine and topiramate) is a decent weight loss drug. Your BMI is 47.5, and Qsymia (phentermine and topiramate) has not been shown to be effective in a similar patient population as far as I'm aware. I know your weight makes your life very difficult, and my heart goes out to you. Your weight is a serious health risk to you. It would be worth talking with an experienced bariatric surgery group about options. Good luck!
