It depends...: Skin spots are common and mostly benign. But you need to watch /monitor it to see if it changes in size, color or surface.Unless it is enlarging/growing in any direction, it can be left alone. Next time you go see your primary care doctor ask him to check it for you unless it is getting bigger over the next 1-3 months.
