Muscle: Twenties male reports sudden onset "after working out" of painful mass on lateral chest wall just inferior to axilla. He is loath to move ipsilateral upper quarter. If a muscle ruptured, the serratus anterior would seem the best explanation. However all this is speculation. A doctor needs to evaluate. If shortness of breath or intolerable pain then more urgent care might be in order.
