Cheap is best: Find the cheapest, general multivitamin with iron you can find. Try your local pharmacy or big box store. Don't buy fancy brands as they are no better. Actually, you'll get all the vitamins you need from a good diet. For iron eat red meat and dark leafy vegetables. Do not take large doses of vitamins. Now, i know there are people who will insist their expensive vitamins are best, but they're wrong.

First you need to: Understand what vitamins you might actually have low levels of. This may depend on your diet(like being a vegetarian/vegan) and any underlying issues like heavy periods or malabsorptive gastrointestinal issues. As a general rule if you are of child bearing age(which 28 would count as) and possibly could get pregnant, starting with a cheap over the counter prenatal will get you going.
