Not enough info: Her age, health, medical history, family medical history, prior trauma...All play in answer. Could be infection, or many other things--needs thoroughly evaluated by neurologist, likely imaging and testing as well to diagnose and recommend treatment plan.

Grand mal seizures: Your description raises questions of generalized tonic-clonic convulsions, and epilepsy absolutely needs to be controlled as well as possible. Risk of harm is very high if this is not handled. Please see neurologist ASAP
