Menses: Nope, antibiotics will not change your cycle in general. Sometimes, if you are on the pill, could alter contraceptive benefit.

Both sons are on amoxicillin (5 months for an ear infection & 2.5 years for strep). My husband and I are both allergic to amoxicillin (rashes). We told the doctor this but they were still prescribed. Would severe reaction happen immediately? Nervous?
Strep/mono Tests were both negative but doc still thinks its strep. I am now on amoxicillin and prednisone and getting hives breakouts. Was on a diff antibiotic, thought I was allergic bc of hives and went to a diff doc. But Im still breaking out. ?
