2 types of vitamins: What is the difference in the vitamins you are taking? All the b vitamins, other than b12, along with vitamin c are water soluble and any excess of those vitamins are excreted in the urine daily. Fat soluble vitamins, a, e and d can accumulate in your body and over a long time will not do you any good. You need to ask yourself, what is the reason you are on two vitamins? Good luck.

Probably: Safe, probably, but why? If you are young and relatively healthy, you probably don't need any multivitamins at all. If you do feel the need to take one, ask your pharmacist for a complete multivitamin, and take one daily. Eat a variety of healthy minimally processed foods, drink plenty of water, and you should be fine in the absence of specific illness.
