Cant tell if pain is from gallbladder or ibs. have family history of gallbladder issues and they found sludge in gallbladder. what could it be?

Gallbladder disease: Sludge is a form of gallstones, very small gallstones. If you are free of fever, vomiting and pain is mild, then continue with your doc who ordered the us. More tests, possible referral for surgery may be in your future. In the meantime, a low fat diet and lots of hydration will help. Be well.
