Eustachian tube : The eustachian tube is the connection of the middle ear to the throat where mucous will normally exit and air will occasionally enter. In most kids this happens randomly and they will not notice it.During infections, no air enters, but as they recover, it may begin to return.A kid may notice a popping with chewing or randomly.Hearing may vary as this happens.
