No worries!: Sounds like a normal tvu exam. A trace amount of fluid is common and normal. It is what is called physiologic. An abnormal or significant amount of fluid could indicate blood from a ruptured hemorrhagic cyst or pus from a pelvic infection for example. That is not your case. Your pain then is more likely related to your cystitis.

Trace: Free pelvic fluid is a common and normal ultrasound finding. It is often the result of ovulation.
