Gastroenteritis: Have patience. This is typically a 3 day viral illness, but can last longer. The key here is to keep her comfortable and well hydrated and rested. This will pass and you can, if necessary, put off the bday party for a day or two. If the presents are appreciated she will not likely mind the delay. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
