Preterm labor: Physicians generally reserve steroids for high-risk pregnancies and those at risk for preterm labor before 34 weeks. If you received steroids, you might be considered high-risk and therefore may want to reconsider traveling unless you have access to a hospital capable of caring for high-risk mothers and newborns.
