Check the label: Taking supplements can be helpful, depending on the reason for taking them. At times though, looking at what mother nature has to offer can be better. An example I use is that an apple, which has on average 6mgs of vit c, because of the 12, 000 other phytonutrients in it, will give you more antioxidant protection than taking 1500 mgs of vitamin c in pill form. Vitamins are food fragments.
