Can my progesterone levels increase after just 5 days of taking vitex?

Yes: Anything we eat or drink effects our hormonal and neurochemical levels. Since vitex is an herb, it is not tested like prescription medicine to determine the amount of time it take to cause a certain increase in this case the production of progesterone. If you can tolerate the side effects, take as instructed and then a blood test in 1-2 weeks would tell you exactly what the levels are. Good luck!
