A member asked:

Will various x-rays and one cat scan in small child cause cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably not: Although all radiation is cumulative, diagnostic x-rays fall well within the safe level. If x-rays or cat scans are diagnostically necessary, the chance of damage from not being able to visualize the problem is much greater than the chance of damage from the necessary diagnostic modalities.
