IT IS A RISK FACTOR: Radiation exposure is a cumulative risk feactorfor cancer and more radiation higher the risk, but it is unpredictable risk.But cat scans have more radiation than chest xray.There is modest but clinically significant risk.Accordind to a havard study the risk increases 1% over the baseline.
