?infection: If the discomfort is in the region of the shoulder blade and is made worse with a deep breath and if there is also a cough, this could be a pleurisy and and early lung infection. Keep an eye out for fever, chills, sweats, deep cough and get checked if these appear. Otherwise there could be an inflammation of the shoulder area like tendonitis which is aggravated by arm motions.
