Need better understa: A better understanding of energy balance will help you. You need to eat healthy and moderate amounts...Starvation is not going to help. Your food should be balanced with good amount of proteins(low fat dairy/milk and yogurt. Fish and nuts) and low carbohyderates and no added sugar, fat or fried foods. Fill half your plate with veggies; fruits with each meal. Do 30 mins exercise(walking fast) daily.
