Cold compression: Apply cold compresses to stop the bleeding. Use an antibiotic ointment daily afterwards. If bleeding persists see your physician.

Relax: This will heal quickly. It must have stopped bleeding by now. Keep lubricated --- vaseline is easy. Consider cutting your nails.
