More info: I doubt that you would be kept in a hospital for a month in this day and age unless you had a significant lung infection and , of course , you must have had an abnormal chest xray caused by the lung infection. Your physician, who knows all your findings, is the most qualified person to answer your questions. The fainting is a nonspecific event and may have been caused by weakness from the infection.

Fainting: Ifyou were hospitalized for one month, that could have been a serious infection. Serious infections can sometimes lower your blood pressure and can cause fainting.

Ask your doctor: To explain it to you. If you were in the hospital for a month obviously something was wrong. You would have had a complicated case and your doctor has the most information to give you the best answer.
