I'm not optimistic: Acne is a non-life-threatening disease, our immunity against the propionobacteria that cause it isn't protective, and no company's going to go to the expense and tort-law liability to develop it. All acne is manageable nowadays. Despite an announcement that got into the press, i've found nothing in the mainstream literature to suggest there's real activity developing such a vaccine.
