I had my hcg injection day before 48hrs. i did not ovulate yet. will i ovulate this cycle?

?: Not sure of the question or what happened 48 hours before. If you take an HCG shot you will normally ovulate around 44 hours after the shot. Your ovulation predictor kit would not turn positive as it is HCG that is causing the ovulation not lh as picked up by the kit.
