No: Appendicitis is best treated with surgery. There are some rare situations where surgery is intentionally delayed while antibiotics are given, but the majority of cases are best treated with surgery.

No good one.: Appendicitis was 99% fatal before antibiotics. Today with prompt surgical treatment it is rarely fatal. If you have appendicitis, get treatment now. Removal before rupture has a quick recovery, while ruptured appendicitis is associated with a prolonged recovery and more long term complications.
