Dry skin: yes taking a shower twice a day can be drying out your skin, but usually not. the better question to ask is are you using harsh shampoos, or body lotions that have sulfa agents, or parabans that are harsh on the skin. I would suggest hydrating the skin with lotion after the shower, when your skin pores are the most open, and will easily accept lotions and absorptive creams.
