A member asked:

Can you explain if it's truly bad for my lung cancer risk to drive with my car windows down?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Don't think so: A fear spread in the internet is that driving with the windows down may increase exposure to exhaust and smog and increase the risk of lung cancer. This is not proven and is unlikely to be a significant risk factor unless possibly you are constantly stuck in traffic jams.
