Can you explain if it's possible to hyperextended your knee without tearing any ligaments?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes.: It is possible to hyperextend your knee and not tear ligaments. You may stretch the soft tissues in the back of the knee, and pinch the ones in the front of the knee. Usually get better with rest and physical therapy.
