The body/ mind: Likes consistency. Going to bed at a decent &consistent time, waking refreshed and being productive the next day is a good recipe.

If once in a while: You stay up late for a special event and sleep in the next day it may be ok. However, if this becomes a frequent occurrence, it will interfere with work and other daily responsibilities. Therefore, i agree with dr. Fowler's recommendations.
