Either way: Both procedures can be done at the same time or as separate procedures. That would depend upon the preference of the surgeon, you, and the individual circumstances at the time.

Definitely, yes: A sinus lift is done when there is not enough height in the upper jaw, or the sinuses are too low to the jaw, for dental implants. In some instances, it can be possible that the dentist will place the dental implant at the same time that the sinus lift is performed or it could be placed 4 month later..
