Not really: Your body runs on carbohydrates- The healthy type found in fruits, whole grains, legumes. When you eat a no carb diet, your body goes into ketosis, which doesnt provide adequate sugar for your brain and organ systems. Its not safe and not recommended

Research it.: If you fight through all the fads and sensationalism, you'll see studies that show that there's no magic to carbohydrate restriction or elimination. It just reduces the number of calories you eat daily, just like any other calorie restricted diet. It's healthier to eat complex carbohydrates and fiber as part of a weight reducing meal plan.
