Research it.: If you fight through all the fads and sensationalism, you'll see studies that show that there's no magic to carbohydrate restriction or elimination. It just reduces the number of calories you eat daily, just like any other calorie restricted diet. It's healthier to eat complex carbohydrates and fiber as part of a weight reducing meal plan.
